What is the 48 Hour Film Project?

The 48 Hour Film Project is a competition in which participants have only
48 hours to write, shoot, and edit their movies. To raise the stakes
there are 4 "elements";

PROP (Garden hose, pearls, etc...)
LINE OF DIALOGUE ("What's the plan this time, brainiac?")
CHARACTER NAME / PROFESSION (J. Upton, dog walker)
GENRA (Action, Comedy, Western, etc...)

All "elements" must be worked into the film. These
"elements" are drawn from a hat (literally) at the kick off party on a
Friday night, from there you have 48 hours to create a film and return
it to the kick off location. The "elements" do not need to be the main
focus of the film but the audience seems to enjoy the experience more
if the group tries to incorporate the ridiculous items as best as possible.
